Alec Mills is a professional baseball pitcher known for his time in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on November 30, 1992, in DeKalb, Illinois, Mills played college baseball at the University of Tennessee. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 22nd round of the 2012 MLB Draft. Mills made his MLB debut for the Kansas City Royals on September 29, 2016. He later joined the Chicago Cubs, where he gained recognition for his strong performances, including a no-hitter against the Milwaukee Brewers on September 13, 2020, becoming the first pitcher in Cubs history to achieve that feat since Jake Arrieta in 2016.
