Brad Evans is a retired American soccer player born on April 20, 1985, in San Diego, California. He played primarily as a midfielder and right back. Evans had a successful collegiate career at UC Irvine and was drafted by the Columbus Crew in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. During his time with Columbus, he helped the team win the MLS Cup in 2008 and the Supporters' Shield in 2009. In 2011, Evans was traded to the Seattle Sounders FC, where he became a key player and contributed to multiple playoff runs, winning the U.S. Open Cup in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He also earned a handful of caps for the U.S. national team, featuring in World Cup qualifiers and friendly matches. After retiring from professional soccer in 2019, Evans transitioned to coaching and media work.
