Bob Golic is a former American football player, born on December 26, 1965, in Willowick, Ohio. He played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) and is best known for his time with the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Raiders. Golic was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Browns. He enjoyed a successful career, earning Pro Bowl honors and becoming a staple of the Browns' defense during the late 1980s and early 1990s. After his playing career, Golic transitioned into sports broadcasting and has been involved in various media pursuits, including hosting a radio show and making television appearances. In addition to football, he is also known for his role as an actor, appearing in shows such as 'Family Ties' and 'The Golic and Wingo Show'. Golic is also the younger brother of fellow NFL player and sports commentator Mike Golic.
