Bob Crewe was an American songwriter, record producer, and music publisher, born on November 12, 1930, in Newark, New Jersey. He is best known for his work with the Four Seasons, having co-written many of their hits including 'Sherry', 'Big Girls Don't Cry', and 'Walk Like a Man'. Crewe also produced records for other artists and was influential in the 1960s pop music scene. Besides his work in music, Bob Crewe was also involved in visual arts and had a passion for painting and design. He passed away on September 28, 2020.
